This was my third time dining at this restaurant but my first review.  I should be upfront and say this review is an average of all my visits. If it was based only on the most recent visit I would only give two stars.

At our dine Sunday night dinner the staff all seemed to be in a bad mood. A hostess came and took away our chopsticks and brought forks. Frankly, when I dine at Chinese restaurants I prefer chopsticks. When the waiter came I brought it to his attention, but he clearly didn't understand me.

We ordered our meals with rice. The food came and we waited and waited and the rice never came. Our waiter never came to check on us, including the empty tea pot which remained that way throughout our meal. When the bill came it was only a total so I had to ask the manager to remove the rice we never received.

So that was my last experience. On the plus side this is a very popular restaurant with a parking lot that's barely large enough. Last night there was only one space available and I wondered where else I could park of there was no space (it wouldn't be very close).

The food is relatively traditional Chinese and very good. The waiters are generally very efficient albeit lacking in personality (which I have found to be common). Every time I have dined here it was crowded which is a good thing.

While I recommend this restaurant my most recent poor experience is still on my mind. I hope it was just a few mistakes, but all could have been avoided. I will still be a customer.

Great fast service, food is cheap and decent quality. Great for large families and seafood lovers!

Can get pretty busy but that's how popular it is. Avoid lunch and dinner hours but worth waiting.

Parking is severely limited. Parking available at the next door America's Tire ONLY when they are closed. Never attempt to park there during business hours as they take it seriously and I can imagine several people not caring. I wouldn't be surprised they toe immediately. Be respectful!

I'm tired of giving them the chance to redeem themselves! Should have known better than to even try again but I really wanted crab legs!

I'm writing this review AT THE TABLE! It's Sunday Buffet! Not crowded but the dishes are mushy or overcooked! You have to wait till somebody replenishes the food and she has an attitude about doing it! After waiting 30 mins I asked if they were putting the crab legs out and she snapped YES!! Well...bring them out then! People have been waiting. So she purposely takes her time bringing other food out and then brings the smallest let of legs out!!!  So of course people pounce on them and then poof they are gone! No telling when the next set will be served!

Even the sushi was dry!!! How do you fix it, put it out and it be dry instantly???

If you are going to advertise having crab legs get yourself prepared to serve them!!!

I had to practically get my own drink!

But you better bet they ain't slow to take your money! Well guess what....you won't get ANOTHER dime from me!!!

Next time I'll just take my money down the street to whole foods and take them home

We've been dining here for years, both dine-in and takeout, best value for lunch special with free soup, rice, and dessert.

I've been coming here for over 20 years. I dont live in the area but when I do come this is ALWAYS one of our stops to eat in Southern California. We always get the crunchy noodles and salt and pepper fish and always ask for the fish sauce for dipping. When I come here I'm with a crowd so I have my mom order the rest. This particular time there were 8 adults and 2 kids and the bill was like $160 with left overs. The price, fast service and great food for a crowd is wonderful. I always compare Chinese restaurants with this one. I've only found one other Chinese restaurant in SF that's very close but it's not Seafood town.

If you come on a Sunday and the parking lot if full, park at the American Tires parking lot next door and walk over. American Tires is closed on Sunday. Also if you come on a holiday and see a crowd dont let that stop you from coming in. On Easter Sunday, we put our name in and probably waited for 10 minutes and were seated immediately.  Not a bad wait for 10 of us.
